Euro 2016: Lithuania lost to Estonia

Estonia took revenge on Lithuania for the defeat in Vilnius 1-0 in October 2014. Estonia won with the same score and took the third place in the group with 10 points, two behind the Swiss who are in the second place. Lithuania has six points and is in the fifth place. Only San Marino, with one point, is below in the group.

The match, that took place in the Le Coq Arena in Tallinn, saw both teams on equal footing until the 71st minute when Konstantin Vassiljev scored a goal and gave a 1-0 lead to Estonia. The home team managed to preserve their lead and prevent the Lithuanian players from matching the score.
