First Lithuanian conscript joins professional military service in airforce

He will join the Lithuanian Air Force Air Defense Battalion in Radviliškis.

“I have always thought that the job of a military officer is one of the most prestigious and appreciated. I did not hesitate and signed up for the first summons. A desire to understand how our parents felt when they had to serve in the Soviet army also encouraged me to become a soldier. In addition, I want to have something to tell the grandchildren and children when I am old,” said Jakštas.
