Four Danish fighter-jets land in Lithuania for NATO air-policing mission

“All four jets have already landed in the Siauliai aviation base,” Lieutenant Arnas Glazauskas, a spokesman for the Lithuanian Air Force, told BNS.

Denmark’s F-16 aircraft will replace the United States’ F-15 fighter-jets that have guarded Baltic airspace from the Siauliai military airbase since September.

An official changeover ceremony is scheduled for Monday.
