Jonas Valančiūnas failed to drop a double-double against the Cavaliers but was happy with the win

Jonas Valančiūnas, who was recently cleared to return to the team after a false alarm forced him into isolation to follow the Covid-19 health and safety protocols, returned to the team with a winner as he was pivotal for Memphis Grizzlies (4-6) as they defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers (5-6) in a 101-91 away win, playing for a full 28 minutes, of which www.jokaroom.net covered the odds on for the fans to stake on.

The Lithuanian, who stands 6 ft 11 tall, was hugely impressive for the Grizzles, as he was able to register 12 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 assists. He also made two blocks, and while tackling the opponents the Centre made five fouls in the game.

This will be the first game of the 2020/21 campaign the Lithuanian center didn’t score double digits in both rebounds and points. He started off the campaign with double digits in their game against Atlanta Hawks, a game which ended in a 128-106 home win for the Grizzlies as Jonas scored 20 points, 13 rebounds, and an assist in the 28 minutes he played. He might have scored the doubles in their victory against Brooklyn Nets on Saturday, but he was forced into the locker room for the second half of the game after it was announced to the public that he might have made contact with Covid-19 despite coming out negative for the virus, and it turned out later, it was a false alarm as no one around him have contacted the virus.

After missing out on the second half of their win against the Nets, the Lithuanian returned to the Taylor Jenkins’ team in their game against Cleveland Cavaliers. This time, as he failed to register double digits in rebounds and points, Cavalier star Andre Drummond took up the mantle as he bagged 19 points and 14 rebounds in the game. However, the Lithuanian was the victor at the end of the day as he is with the winning team.

The 28-year-old center scored five fouls, and he received a technical penalty in the match after accusing compatriot Gediminas Petraitis in the second half for not calling on a foul against Drummond, who seemed to have made a foul before a dunk, and this was also covered with odds from best payout online casinos.

Talking about first-timers this campaign, the Memphis Grizzlies, for the first time so far this season, are now situated in the bottom half the tables as they currently sit in the 13th position in the Western Conference.
