Should the elections to the parliament take place next Sunday, the Liberals would secure 14.6 percent of the vote, up from 10.5 percent a month ago.
The ruling Lithuanian Social Democrats continue topping the popularity polls, with support of 20.8 percent of respondents (almost unchanged at 20.9 pct in February).
The list is continued by the opposition Homeland Union – Lithuanian Christian Democrats (conservatives) with 9.3 percent (9.6 pct a month ago), the Order and Justice party with 8.3 percent (8.9 pct a month ago)and the Labor Party that saw its popularity decrease to 6.2 percent in March from 9.2 percent month-on-month.
The poll of 1,011 respondents between ages of 18 and 75 was carried out by Spinter Tyrimai (Spinter Surveys) public opinion and market research company on March 14-22.
