Lithuania and Ukraine sign bilateral cooperation plan for 2015

The plan provides for further invitation of Ukrainian officers to attend English language and staff officer courses at the Military Academy of Lithuania, and Ukrainian NGOs – at the international military instructor course at the Lithuanian Armed Forces School, consultations for Ukrainian colleagues on the development of a cyber defense system and to share experience in the area of military medicine.

Lithuania also plans to continue rendering assistance to Ukraine this year by further inviting Ukrainian troops injured in eastern Ukraine to undergo rehabilitation in Lithuania.

Just like last year, Lithuanian troops will participate in the US Army in Europe-organized Exercise Rapid Trident in Ukraine.
