Based in Calcutta, Lithuania’s third honorary consulate in India was opened on Tuesday and will be led by businessman Arvind Kumar Sukhani.
On Monday, Lithuania’s honorary consulate was also opened in the Finnish city of Lohja. It will be headed by Esa Karvinen.
Lithuania’s honorary consul in India will be based in Calcutta but his consular jurisdiction will cover the states of West Bengali, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Nagaland, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Sikkim and Tripura.
