Lithuania to sign Boxer purchase contract next week

The decision was made by the ministry’s Defence Resource Board on Tuesday after hearing a report of the task force for the acquisition of the infantry fighting vehicles about the acquisition talks and the outcome of the negotiations.

In all, Lithuania plans to buy 88 Boxers to equip two of its army’s Land Force battalions. They will include 84 IFVs, equipped with 300 MK2 turrets, and four armoured command vehicles.
