DELFI / Tomas Vinickas

“I am pleased that the Seimas approved the Government’s activity report – this is a positive evaluation of the Government’s work and results it achieved. We focused our attention on actual improvement of people’s lives – we increased the monthly minimum wage, reduced electricity, gas and heating prices, reinstated pensions that were cut by the conservatives and liberals,” said Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevičius.

According to the prime minister, in spite of geopolitical challenges, embargo imposed by Russia, the Lithuanian economy and export grew.

Butkevičius noted that the Government implemented strategic projects – finished the Liquefied Natural Gas Terminal, continued Nord Balt and LitPolLink connection projects.
