Lithuanian PM congratulates Ukraine’s Yatseniuk on reappointment

“I would like to offer my warm congratulations on your appointment by the Supreme Rada for a new term as the prime minister of Ukraine. On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania I wish you every success and am ready to co-operate with your Cabinet for the benefit of the Lithuanian and Ukrainian nations,” the prime minister’s letter of congratulations read.

According to the head of the Government, victory of democratic powers in parliamentary elections and the appointment of the new Government in this tense period for Ukraine and Europe has once again demonstrated the European choice made by the people of Ukraine.

Let me assure you that the Lithuanian Government will support your Cabinet’s efforts striving for comprehensive prosperity of democratic Ukraine,” said Butkevičius.
