We trust that we will pursue intense bilateral cooperation and develop broader opportunities for the partnership of our states,” said Prime Minister Butkevičius. Ambassador of India Bisaria said that encouragement of economic and cultural cooperation between Lithuania and India should be given a priority.

The prime minister has underscored the need for closer trade relations, pointing out Lithuania’s advantages as a trading partner. “Lithuania is among the fastest-growing economies in the EU, with the projected DGP growth of 2.5 percent this year, and 3.2 percent in 2016,” said the prime minister.
