Kadišienė, who has served as Lithuania’s representative to the WTO since 2015, was appointed as the committee’s head in Geneva on Thursday, it said.
The committee is responsible for overseeing the implementation of the WTO’s Trade Facilitation Agreement aimed at expediting the movement, release and clearance of goods across borders.
