Lithuania’s president off to UAE to agree on exports certificates for meat, eggs

“We will attempt settling three matters, which are important for our economic cooperation and business. The first will be finalizing exports certificates for Lithuanian meat and eggs,” Grybauskaitė said in an interview broadcast on the national radio LRT on Monday.

According to a press release circulated by the President’s Office, this would open access to new markets across the Persian Gulf region. Currently, Lithuanian companies export grain, dairy and fish products, however, the market has been closed to meat and eggs due to specific requirements.
