Lithuania’s president off to World Economic Forum

During meetings with world leaders on Thursday and Friday, Grybauskaitė intends to present and discuss the issues challenging the Eastern European region.

Together with the presidents of Poland and Ukraine, Andrzej Duda and Petro Poroshenko, European neighbourhood and development commissioner Johanes Hahn, she will attend a session that is intended to present the Eastern European region’s attitude towards safety of the continent and the rest of the globe.

The Lithuanian president has also been invited to an official dinner held to discuss the key topic of the forum about building a future in a dividing world. Among guests of the dinner, will be European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker and founder of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Klaus Martin Schwab.
