Order and Justice party joins defense pact

According to Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis, such a decision means that the majority of political parties in Lithuania care for the security of the State of Lithuania and its society and are able to unite for the state’s strategic goals, despite harsh political discussions.

In early September, the agreement was signed by the leaders of the Lithuanian Farmers and Greens Union, Homeland Union – Lithuanian Christian Democrats, Social Democratic Labor Party of Lithuania and Electoral Action of Poles in Lithuania – Christian Families Alliance.

The Order and Justice leader signed the agreement later as he earlier said he wanted to, first of all, inform the party’s convention which took place in late September.
