President Grybauskaitė: Putin is testing NATO leadership

“Today it is a test of leadership for European leaders and for NATO leaders, and Putin knows how long and how much he can go and we need to show that he can not go too far,” Grybauskaitė told the US television CNN in comment of the discussions on Ukraine held at the NATO summit in Wales.

In her words, Putin is testing the leadership of other countries, therefore, NATO and the European Union must resist Russia’s aggression which breaches international agreements and commitments.
