“Lithuania today is a country of opportunity. More and more people come to believe that they can realize their initiatives, start a business or make a difference in politics. More and more investors are taking a better look at Lithuanian ideas. They value Lithuanian employees. So Lithuania is the place where the bravest of visions have a chance of success,” the president is quoted in a press release.
According to the president, it is important that bright and creative Lithuanians from all over the world come back not only in their thoughts and words, but also return through their work. It will create the necessary conditions to fully use the potential of the Lithuanian economy, democracy and civil society.
This year’s forum involves more than 250 Lithuanian and Lithuanian-descent business representatives as well as field experts from all over the world. Over 15 new social projects and initiatives will be presented during the event.
The World Lithuanian Economic Forum aims to promote the involvement of expatriate Lithuanians, entrepreneurs, economists, political figures and scientists in Lithuania’s economic life, strengthen their ties with the country and encourage them to develop business in Lithuania, as well as attract investments.
