According to the president, unity is crucially important for Ukrainian people now. The implementation of reforms in Ukraine requires joint effort by all governmental bodies and the solidarity of people. Reforms must be carried out immediately and effectively.
The president underlined that corruption was one of the biggest challenges hampering the implementation of reforms. It is essential for Ukraine to enforce as soon as possible anti-corruption laws in order to ensure the transparent judicial system and create a business-friendly environment in this country.
The Ukrainian judicial system and public service must become effective and serve the interests of people. A clearer tax and customs system and more transparent business environment will help Ukraine attract more investments.
The president noted that making the energy sector more transparent and increasing its energy independence was also important for Ukraine.
