Russia unlikely to cut gas supply to Lithuania, energy minister says

“I think such a scenario is impossible for several reasons. First, we do not depend on the flow that is directly problematic, namely, gas traffic which crosses the Ukrainian territory towards the European Union. We are meeting all our obligations to Gazprom, there are no issues regarding gas supply. Of course, there is that dispute which is solved through arbitration. Here, of course, the interests of our country are being represented, but I do not see any reason for the escalation,” said the minister in an interview with the Žinių Radijas radio on Thursday.
