The Migration Department said on Monday that four migrant families had arrived in Lithuania.
Over two yeas ago, Lithuania committed itself to receiving 1,105 refugees from countries, such as Syria, Iraq and Eritrea.
Although the country has received 431 persons by now, many of them already left for wealthier western European states.
Since 2011, the civil war in Syria claimed more than 400,000 lives, forcing millions of people to flee homes.
