A spokeswoman for the state energy group Lietuvos Energija (Lithuanian Energy), which owns ESO, said that new reports about power outages were coming in.

“The work (to restore supply) continued overnight and is in full swing now,” Laura Šebekienė, head of corporate communications at Lietuvos Energija, told BNS.

ESO said the storm had left a total of around 60,000 customers powerless across the country.
