The betting company Orakulas gives a 1.40 coefficient that Zuokas will become the mayor of Vilnius again, i.e., a person who bets EUR 10 in favour of Zuokas will take back EUR 14, making a profit of EUR 4, in case of Zuokas’ victory.
Second in line comes MP Remigijus Šimašius from the Liberal Movement, his coefficient stands at 3.2.
MEP Valdemar Tomaševski, leader of the Electoral Action of Poles in Lithuania party, and MP Naglis Puteikis, an independent candidate, come third and fourth, as they both share the coefficient of 6.
It is also predicted that Zuokas, Šimašius, Tomaševski, Puteikis, Conservative Mykolas Majauskas and Petras Gražulis from the party Order and Justice will make it to the second round of elections.
Mayoral and municipal elections are scheduled for 1 March in Lithuania.
