Brexit may raise vehicle prices in Lithuania

The British decision to withdraw from the EU may increase the vehicle prices of some Japanese vehicle makers who have factories in England.

Nissan has a factory in Sunderland in the north east of England which currently produces the Juke, Qashqai, Note and Leaf models.

It is hard to speculate since the political situation is uncertain – perhaps England will not remain in the EU, and perhaps it will … When a final formal decision will be taken then an analysis will be done and it will be possible to share more specific information,” said UAB Mototoja marketing and communications manager Ingrida Pranskevičienė.
