Education minister: teachers’ wages will not be raised at the expense of children’s education

Funding for non-formal education will be provided from the EU funding, according to the minister, and the Ministry of Education hopes to prepare the needed documents so that the funding would be available in April.

That move means that the level of funding for education for children will not be affected by the raising of Lithuanian teacher’s salaries.
