Only one in four respondents said that they changed their habits of household budget management. This was a more frequent answer among respondents older than 45 and female respondents.

“Last autumn, we also carried out a poll about the Lithuanians’ preparation for the new currency. Back then, the majority of those polled said that they believed that the euro would not change their household budget management behaviour. Both polls confirm that people accepted the changes calmly and were prepared for them,” said Dovile Krinickienė, marketing manager of Provident Finansai.

A total of 300 adult respondents participated in the poll. The telephone poll was conducted in January and February 2015.
