The organizers say that the program of Scanorama, which will run until Nov. 26, includes the winning films from this year’s Cannes and Berlin film festivals.
Gražina Arlickaitė, the founder and art director of Scanorama, says that this year’s program puts a strong focus on German films, a result of long-term cooperation with the Goethe-Institut.
Almost half of this year’s films were directed by women. Scanorama will host a special discussion on “Women in the Film Industry”.
