“Of course, I want to restore what had been taken from me,” he told the daily newspaper Lietuvos Rytas.

Antonov has requested 557 million euros for his 68 percent bank shares. I will seek accordingly for my 25 percent,” he added, referring to the other Snoras’ owner, Vladimir Antonov.

Antonov has filed a lawsuit with a Moscow arbitration. The Lithuanian government claims it has no jurisdiction in the case.

In Lithuania, Baranauskas and Antonov are accused of stripping assets and funds worth over half a billion euros from Snoras, which was closed in 2011 amid a fraud probe.

Lithuanian justice authorities issued EU warrants for the arrest of Antonov and Baranauskas. They fled Britain last year after losing a bid to avoid extradition and currently live in Russia.
