According to the Police Department, the flags were attacked to the bridges with chains. Calls about the flags with banned symbols were received early Friday morning.
The flags were removed, and an investigation was launched.
Nazi leader Adolf Hitler was born on April 20, and incidents of Nazi symbols appearing on that day still happen in Lithuania.
