Discussed for the past few weeks, the plan envisages the government’s efforts to reduce social exclusion, implement a reform of education and labour relations, as well as raise the defence budget.
The government also intends to review tax privileges, noting that this would be done in a systematic manner without rapid decisions.
The latest version of the plan stipulated an analysis of the need to introduce an automobile tax that would help reduce environmental pollution, as well as a sugar tax that would encourage the nation to eat less sugar.
Under the law, after the parliament supports the governmental programme, the government has three months to approve the priority measures for implementation of the programme provisions.
