Skvernelis told journalists at the parliament that restructuring of the public sector was viewed as an integrated issue, dismissing the bill registered by opposition conservatives as an attempt to “make a show out of legislature”.
“The government is not giving it up, however, we are talking in the context of restructuring of the whole public sector, as there is a plan to consolidate all buildings into a single location,” the prime minister added.
All of Lithuania’s 14 ministries are currently based in Vilnius.
