Some 50 percent of the Lithuanians were in favor of the euro in spring, up 10 percentage points from 40 percent last fall.
Some 41 percent (down 8 percentage points) said they did not want the euro and 9 percent had no opinion on the single currency.
The European Union’s (EU) General Affairs Council on Wednesday gave the final approval for Lithuania’s accession to the euro zone in 2015.
