The port’s officials told BNS that traffic restrictions had been in place since 8:30 p.m. on Monday.
Five vessels were waiting to enter the port on Tuesday morning.
Westerly to northwesterly winds gusting up to 15-20 meters per second are in the forecast for Tuesday.
