“This is the next logical step for successful operation in the energy market, expanding our offer and strengthening our positions in all three Baltic energy markets,” Latvenergo Sales Director Uldis Mucenieks said.

“Our main customers in Lithuania are small and medium-sized companies that are interested to receive both resources – power and natural gas – from one supplier,” he said.

Latvenergo says it is currently the only energy provider operating in all market segments in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia.

The company purchases natural gas from Latvijas Gaze (Latvian Gas), the Klaipeda liquefied natural gas terminal and other suppliers.
