Lithuania bans energy drinks sale to minors

The Seimas of Lithuania adopted the amendments last spring, initiated by Labour Party MP Dangutė Mikutienė, chairwoman of the parliamentary Committee on Health.

Sellers of energy drinks to under-18s will face a fine of 200-400 litas (EUR 58-115). Other people would be fined 50-200 litas for buying an energy drink for a minor.
