Lithuania opens honorary consulate in Saudi Arabia

It will be headed by businessman Mahfouz Marei bin Mahfouz, the Foreign Ministry said.

“I am proud to see a member of one of Saudi Arabia’s most famous and respected families become our honorary consul. I am convinced that the broad business connections of our honorary consul will help Lithuanian businessmen find ways to the new market. We believe that the honorary consul’s since and active work will open broader opportunities for our cultural, scientific and university cooperation,” Linkevičius said at the opening festivities.
