Lithuania remains the most popular foreign investment destination in the region

Statistics Lithuania data suggests that the number of foreign-capital firms and their employees increased by a quarter over the past six years in Lithuania.

While three global companies moved their production out of the country, Lithuania remains the most popular foreign investment destination in the region.

With three big companies, including Coca-Cola, departing from Lithuania for operations optimization, up to 150 jobs have been lost. Nevertheless, investment attracted last year should create more than 4000 new jobs.
