Lithuania’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs shared a photo on Twitter, showing an Adidas women’s shirt with a USSR sign on it.
“Being sick with “imperial nostalgia” – it still occurs. A bit surprising from the famous @adidas, though,” the ministry said in a tweet that was later retweeted by Foreign Minister Linas Linkevičius.
Lithuania was occupied by the Soviet Union in1940–1941 and 1944–1990.
