Lithuania to change clocks for last time next spring – minister

“The last clock change will take place in the spring, but final decisions are yet to be made. So far, we have only heard statements from top (European) Commission officials,” he told reporters.

Masiulis added that EU ministers would discuss the issue at an informal meeting by the end of the year.

In September, the European Commission proposed to put an end to the practice of adjusting clocks twice a year in 2019.

It said member states should be free to decide “once and for all” whether they want to adopt summertime or wintertime permanently.
