In the claim, the foreigner complained about a Lithuanian company, Vilnius Apartment, which announced on its Facebook page that it would not provide services to Israeli citizens due to attacks against Palestinians.
The foreigner, who checked the website of Vilnius Apartment, had planned a visit to Lithuania on 14-28 August, but subsequently cancelled his plans due to this “special case of discrimination”.
The foreigner informed several other institutions, including the Lithuanian State Department of Tourism, Latvia’s Embassy in Israel and the European Network of Legal Experts in the Non-Discrimination Field of the European Commission, about the incident.
