The government has allocated €2 602 897 for the production of 28 films, and €307 920 for the development of 14 films.
€706 000 went to the production of 6 feature films: 2 debut films, 2 full-length films and 2 short films.
Among the projects that received production grants are 4 documentaries: two full-length films, 1 short documentary and one TV documentary. The sum to be divided among the projects totals €81 000.
€120 000 funding for the production was also allocated for one short film and one interactive film project.
The grant of €434 000 will be split among 7 minority co-production projects: 3 feature films and 4 full-length documentaries. Lithuanian filmmakers will work with France, Sweden, Finland, Germany, Luxembourg, Belgium, Czech, Bulgaria, Georgia, Ukraine, Croatia, Poland, Latvia and Estonia. For the first time, Lithuanian filmmakers will work with Serbian film production company.
The Lithuanian Film Centre has also allotted 13 development grants totalling €307 920. This funding for film development went to 11 features and 2 interactive film projects.
