“She said she was detained by Israeli authorities for reasons that constitute a threat to national security,” the foreign minister’s spokesman Kęstutis Vaškelevičius said.
At a meeting with Lithuania’s consul, Tervidytė said that she had no complaints over the conditions of her detention and did not request any consular assistance.
The young woman should be put on the next flight to Lithuania, said Vaškelevičius.
Tervidytė’s mother told 15min.lt that her daughter had lately worked on a number of projects in the Palestinian territory.
