Farage, of the Euro-sceptic UK Independence Party, has recently said he’d bet £1,000 on Brexit. Guoga is upping the stakes a thousand-fold, Politico reports.

In a letter to Farage offering the bet, Guoga wrote: “I am so confident that the British people will do the right thing and vote to remain in the EU that I offer a €1 million charity bet to you on Leave!”

Guoga, a poker-player-turned-businessman, is one of the richest Lithuanian politicians, having made a fortune from the online sports betting company TonyBet.
