The attackers fired at the doors and windows of a house in Lurgan, Northern Ireland, at 2 AM on Monday, the local television ITV reports.
The house was occupied by a 19-year-old Lithuanian girl and three young men.
The occupants told reporters that they were sleeping upstairs when the shooting happened. They said they had moved to Northern Ireland eight months ago and were not planning to leave, although the attack did scare them. They did not reveal their names.
After the United Kingdom voted to leave the European Union in a referendum last June, reports of hate crimes directed against migrants have gone up. The majority of voters in Northern Ireland voted to stay in the EU.
