Lithuanian military instructors share experience with Ukrainian soldiers

For the past twelve weeks, Lithuanian military instructors have been training their Ukrainian colleagues.

The twelve-week basic military training course for Ukrainian soldiers at the Ukrainian army training centre is coming to an end. The course is led by Lithuanian Army Training and Doctrine Command mobile training instructors‘ group.

During the course, Ukrainian soldiers have been instructed about military tactics, shooting and ammunition basics, engineering, topography, communications, and medical knowledge, as well as the methodological frameworks to conduct exercises.

After completion of this course, Ukrainian soldiers will have the necessary experience to organize this kind of course for their country’s soldiers to prepare the necessary number of instructors to then organise similar courses.
