Lithuanian MPs observe presidential election in Turkey

The Board of the Seimas has seconded Vilija Aleknaitė-Abramikienė, vice-president of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE PA). She was assigned to head the Turkish presidential election observation mission by President of the OSCE PA Ilkka Kanerva.

On 7-12 August, the presidential election in Turkey will also be observed by Birutė Vėsaitė, head of the Seimas Delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, and deputy head Emanuelis Zingeris.
