The US delegation is coming to Lithuania to learn about the situation on the energy market and discuss regional security, the parliament’s Public Relations Division said.
The delegation will include Rob Bishop, chairman of the House Natural Resources Committee, and other members of the committee, as well as Mike Turner of the Armed Forces Committee.
During the stay in Lithuania, the US delegation will go to Rukla, meet with the ministers of energy and national defense and visit the liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal in the port city of Klaipėda.
The US congressmen also have working meetings in Germany and Norway to discuss the same topics with political leaders of the two countries.
