Lithuanian passports to include entry on ethnicity

Fifty-six members of Parliament voted for the amendments, 11 voted against, 24 abstained.

Changes to the law initiated by MP Mečislovas Zasčiurinskas will take effect on 1 January 2015. Passports issued before this date will not be subject to this regulation.
