In a message published in his social media feed, the prime minister emphasized that the Holocaust tragedy was “a big pain to Lithuania and its people”.
“The Lithuanian Jews lost in Holocaust were our fellow citizens and they will live forever in our hearts. Now our duty is to remember the victims of the Holocaust, to further promote the common values of humanity and to preserve and cherish the unique Litvak culture,” said the PM.
