The man was rushed to hospital in a critical condition at 5 a.m. on Thursday morning from Galinio Pylimo Street where he was found next to a filling station without outer clothing, the police said.
Disappearance of an Irish citizen from a hotel on Galinio Pylimo Street was reported at 9 a.m. A check of his room revealed toppled furniture and other items.
The man passed away in hospital at around 3 p.m. on Thursday due to what doctors said medication poisoning and liver failure.
