Aniulienė began her career at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1990 at the State and Diplomatic Protocol Department. In 1992-1995 she was deputy director of the department. Later, she held positions of deputy director of the Special Delegation to the Council of the Baltic Sea States, advisor of the First Bilateral Relations Department on the Baltic Sea State Affairs, director of the North European Countries Department, advisor of the European Countries Department and director of the Human Resources Department.
Aniulienė also has experience working in diplomatic representations: she was Lithuania’s ambassador to Denmark and the United Kingdom. In 2008-2012 she held the position of Lithuania’s consul general in Chicago. Since 2012 Aniulienė has been Ambassador at Large of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
